Abstract

The article highlights the decisive role of Taras Shevchenko in the culture of Ukrainians in Moldova, reveals the range of works studied in schools of the Republic of Moldova with the teaching of the Ukrainian language, and highlights the requirements of the Ukrainian Language and Literature curriculum for the study of Shevchenko's works in primary, gymnasium and lyceum education.
