Abstract

The article deals with the basic principles of initial teaching of classical guitar playing at a music school. It represents a generalization of achievements of classical guitar masters, as well as own pedagogical experience. It covers the main questions of modern guitar school at the initial stage: artistic education and technical development of the pupil, setting of the performing apparatus and sound production. Skillful and consistent guidance of the first steps of musical education gives good results even with minimal musical abilities, and ineptly and incorrectly imparted initial skills can significantly inhibit the artistic and technical development of even gifted children.
