The article deals with the problem of the teacher's work with children from migrant families. The characteristics of the impact of labor migration on social and family relations, the processes of upbringing and education of children of this category are given in the article. There are revealed the psychological and pedagogical conditions of the effectiveness of work with this category of children in the activities of the teacher. The necessity of special professional training of didactic personnel for this activity is shown.
