Abstract

STEAM education in biology is a modern learning method that aims to integrate STEAM disciplines with those in the field of art, in order to develop a complex set of skills and abilities in students. This type of education is based on the idea that learning should be an interdisciplinary experience, in which students are actively involved in the process of discovery and learning, develop skills of analysis, synthesis, critical and creative thinking, and biology is a field that lends itself perfectly to such an approach. STEAM projects have a great influence on personal development, generating scientific, technological and artistic skills.
