The article is dedicated to profiling the problems of the „origin of philosophy” topic and ascertaining the level and effectiveness of their research. At the current stage, several methods of treatment have been established which, however, are recognized as unilateral and insufficient, similarly affecting the sphere of education. Such working condition can be assessed ambiguously. The direction of searches has an encouraging vector - from miraculous explanations to logos. But the sphere of philosophical education has a bad perspective: for an indefinite period of time, the lack of systemic, objective ideas regarding the emergence of philosophy will leave in force the spread and use of mystical, fragmentary, one-sided explanations of the subject under discussion.
