dc.description.abstract The article discusses the legal decision-making process through the prism of decision theory and the provisions of current legislation. The categories of legal decisions and the stages of elaboration of normative and individual legal decisions are elucidated. In particular, the following decision-making styles and methods of legal decision-making are explored: the logical method (analysis, synthesis, deduction, induction, abstraction), the analogy method, the expertise method, the modelling method, the scenario method. The demands made on the decision-maker and the ways of activating his or her thinking are also highlighted. en_US
