Сопоставительный аспект изучения модальных глаголов русского и английского языков [Articol]

Abstract

În acest articol autor desfăşoară problema descrierii verbelor modale în limba rusă şi engleză. Cercetare se bazează pe o abordare comparativă pentru evidenţierea caracteristici generale şi specifice. Este observat, că verbele modale ruseşti diferă de toate celelalte verbe cu insuficienţă semantic, dar verbele modale engleze au şi insuficienţă funcţională (verbe defecte), sunt lipsite de o serie trăsături gramaticale importante. Mai multe diferenţe apar pe nivelul morphologic.

In this article the author deals with the problem of describing modal verbs in Russian and English. The research is based on a comparative approach to determine general and specific features. It is noticed that the Russian modal verbs differ from all the other verbs with semantic insufficiency, but the English modal verbs also have a functional insufficiency (defective verbs), they lack a series of important grammatical features. More differences appear at the morphological level.
