dc.description.abstract The importance of the theme lies in the role of the income of the labor force, in the context of the economic situation in the Republic of Moldova. The minimum wage defines the minimum amount of work remuneration that can be achieved within the framework of an economy and, in a similar way, its size. Some economists argue for the importance of the minimum wage in terms of effective tooling for poverty reduction, the improvement of social welfare and the improvement of living standards. We consider, however, that the reset of the state of the developed state reveals changes in the value of the instrument of the minimum wage and the transition to the minimum the subsistence wage. en_US
