Contemporary national piano pedagogy is focused on the progressive achievements of European pianistic schools developed from a perspective of history, cultural aesthetics, and methodology, incorporating the most progressive methods, principles and musical-artistic laws. The interpretative, technical, artistic, and didactic heritage of the 19th century pianist Ferenz Liszt is still present today through its originality, practicality and progressiveness, which is useful for contemporary piano pedagogy. The author researches, updates some of the great pianist's ideas, principles, methods and tips, considering them important and valuable in the modern music school.
