Abstract:
This paper aims to explore the concept of burnout as a key concept of the contemporary world, explained and supported mainly from the perspective of emotional intelligence, but will focus on a less addressed issue, namely parental burnout and strategies for its prevention. Burnout is often understood at the level of general knowledge as the "high level of stress", representing a state of physical and emotional exhaustion, which results from the tendency to achieve some unrealistic expectations, imposed by oneself or society's values, being also called "fighter's disease".Emotional burns also affect families, whose members accumulate negative emotions internally, without the possibility to express or release them.
