This paper is a theoretical-practical foray of new solutions to ensure the operational management of companies in the energy field. It is already known that each company establishes a business strategy that ensures a performance on the market, which ensures its competitiveness and sustainability. Thus, in the context of the pressures dictated by the new regulations in the energy sphere, the new factor influencing the formation of prices, it is necessary to resize the possibilities of operational management aimed at optimizing and improving the departments and subdivisions of companies in this field. The aim of the paper is to identify the new dimensions of modern operational management of companies in the energy sphere in order to ensure competitiveness on the national and international market. The research methodology focused on the use of several research methods such as: analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, abduction, scientific abstraction, empirical research. In conclusion, we can mention that any company in the Republic of Moldova, in the context of new factors of socio-economic influence, needs a resizing of its ma¬na¬gement, in terms of applying viable and optimal strategies to ensure competitiveness and sustainability.
