The author of this paper deals with the problems of improvement of senior preschool age children’s weak memory in process of learning by heart poetical texts in children’s garden. She characterises children’s weak memory. She also tells us about the causes of children’s weak memory. A special attention is paid to psychological and pedagogical factors, which may influence children’s learning by heart. The author offers effective methodical skills of intensification of children’s memory, their abilities of memorization, reproduction and self-control. The author of this paper argues, that correction and development training work connected with learning by heart poems gives excellent results in improvement of weak memory.
