The present article reflects the problem of education and physical training of preschool children in mixed groups. It is difficult to achieve these objectives in such groups because the teacher is forced to work according to the curricular of two or three ages concomitantly. The article reveals the practical ways o f optimizing the process of physical training in mixed groups in terms of the selection of exercises in accordance with curricular requirements and level of physical readiness; the organization of children for each type of exercises; differentiation of physical effort according to age and level of children's physical readiness.
