The procedure of identification of natural and secondary solonetzicity of soils for the addition of spectral characteristics of the satellite images which have been received by the multispectral camera ETM+, which is on board the satellite „Landsat 7‖. Analysis of data from field and laboratory studies solonetzicity southern chernozem characteristics and spectral indicators of images of these soils showed the close relationship between the absorbed Na+ and K+ contents and brightness of images channel 2 („Green‖), 3 („Red‖) and 5 („SWIR1‖). Quantitative analysis of the relationship of these parameters allows to receive statistically reliable regression equation, which allows using information from satellite images to determine the solonetzicity degree of soils without s field and laboratory studies. Construction of spectral curves and statistical analysis of their parameters showed that irrigated second solonetzicity soils have statistically proved increase of brightness for all channels compared with background natural solonetzicity southern chernozem.
