The paper is devoted to the study of quantity transference and diffusion during ilectricai and sparking processing of materials. Material transference on the processed surface is performed in the fom of steamy, liquid and solid phases. Depending on the processing regime the formation of layer is possible due to material transference and its mixture with the liquid phase of the target or diffusion processes may lead to chemical and thermal processing of the surface of the spare part.
