Abstract

Panait Istrati’s book, Spovedanie pentru învinşi, can be considered the “novel” of the relations of the author with the Soviet Union, being also the “card” of the citizen writer, fighter for freedom and social justice. The authenticity of the report derives from the reconstruction based on the author’s memory, returned to Paris after sixteen months in the U.S.S.R., and also from the sincerity of his tone. Written in French language and built on the European report size, Spovedanie pentru învinşi, can be interpreted as a pretty random connection between the journal and pamphlet.

Le livre de Panait Istrati, Spovedanie pentru învinşi, peut être considéré comme le “roman” de relations de l’auteur avec l’Union soviétique, tout en étant la “carte de visite” de l’écrivain citoyen, combattant pour la liberté et la justice sociale.L’authenticité du reportage dérive de la reconstruction basée sur la mémoire de l’auteur, de retour à Paris, après seize mois dans l’U.R.S.S., mais et de la sincérité de ton.
