The article is devoted to the problem of developing managerial skills of Master students, future managers of social services. The article defines the notions of managerial and professional competence and their significance for a social service manager.
The article briefly characterizes the managerial skills formed during the course Management of Social Services for Family and Child taught to Master students. The author also points out the methods and techniques used to develop managerial skills: group discussions, role playing, Brainstorm, SWOT analysis, analysis of practical situations, the communication game.
