Аннотации:
In this paper we discuss some aspects of teaching Calculus at the University level to future teachers of Mathematics. During the last few years we remarked that first year students have difficulties in recognizing, interpretation and conceptual understanding of mathematical ideas. Since Calculus is a compulsory course taught in the first semester and provide powerful analytic tools for the further study of Mathematics, we consider that some topics studied at the lyceum level should be discussed once again and we give some recommendations on the way of introducing the basic concept of the limit of a function at a point.
