Is this article it is regarded questions of woman’s needle work in peasant families in Bessarabia (20-60 years) of the XIX th centuries. Special attention is given to girls who had been studing traditional and national handicraft which is weaving. The author describes in details the process of cloth making and producing cloth articles from sheep hair hemp, flax and silk. In this work are characterized species of weave’s loom (vertical and horizontal). With the help of weave’s loom girls assimilated technical ways of making besarabian cloth with different design and ornament (geometrical, vegetational, zoomorphic). The cloth’s were made on the base of account threads system along stepped line. In the research it is presented technological education of besarabian girls by the examples of spinning – weaving handicraft based on century traditions of national pedagogy and gender principle, taking in consideration age – related children peculiarities.
