Abstract

This paper analyzes some of the problems of formation of sporadic irregularities Es. The arguments presented in support of the idea of the impact of meteors and micrometeors flow on the accumulation of ionospheric atoms/ions of certain metals. Were systematized dimensional and structural characteristics of the layers Es. Summarizes some of the mechanisms of formation of inhomogeneities Es, identifies some promising research directions.
