Sustainable development is a new direction of development that supports long-term human progress throughout the world. The sustainable development subsumes and correlates the following elements: expansion, growth, progress, development and underdevelopment with dual purpose, economic and human development. From the perspective of human development, the opportunities of people to choose extend in three critical areas: lifetime, level of education and access to economic resources necessary for a decent living. Human development is both a process and a final result. The essential difference between the concept of economic growth and the human development is that the first focuses exclusively on the expansion of one possibility – to obtain revenues, while the second involves the consolidation of all possibilities – economic, social, cultural or political. Even though this link has been established, it may disappear gradually, especially if management policy is not consequent or appropriate of human development goals. We should not ignore that the definition of human development concept goes beyond the revenue per head, the human resource development and the basic needs as a measure of human progress and this year it is required to submit evaluation of the following factors: inequality and human development, social justice, international development assistance and international trade that can unlock the potential of human development.
