The article analyzes the principles of training students‘ musical skill. Verbal communication is prevalent in the act of teaching-learning-assessment musical knowledge. Verbalization of the message sound through four specific types of activities – listening, creation, interpretation and reflection – is widely used in training students‘ musical skills in musical education. Through reflection, meditation, characterization, explanation, analysis and assessment, contextualized on principles of music education student‘s (music receptor) specific skills are formed.
