dc.description.abstract	The article reveals the priorities of library collections. Directions and methods of library acquisition in Scientific Library of „Alecu Russo” State University are summarized. It is analyzed language, fields and specific structure of library acquisition. The main sources of literature acquisition are analyzed too. Recommendations on organizing more rational acquisition of library collections are given.	ro
