| Abstract: | This paper discusses compounding, the most productive method of word formation in German. The paper analyzes compound words according to morphologi-cal and semantic-syntactic principles and aims to determine the proportion and frequency of compound words in the 25 articles in the field "Studieren" published on the German online portal "deutschland.de". |
