Abstract

The Scientific Library of USARB participated in Open Access movement begining with 2003 in its various activities and reshaped the information ecosystem of open accesss and science based on the study of the global document flow, open access resources, and scientific data repositories, as well as initiatives in the field of open science, including during the COVID-19 pandemic.The library have always played an important role in the cycle of inovative programmes on Open Acces and Open Science during the 12 years. In the article, the author mentioned open science and open access initiativ, the number of open access services, resources, the programmes which was driving a significant change in the way the library worked, creating an institutional repository, a digital library, electronic resources based on open access publications and data, providing guidance on access to information and data.Also,the library developed services to support the entire research life cycle,as well as subject-oriented training of librarians, academic staff ,scientists, students and specialists.
