dc.description.abstractDurante la enseðanza y aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera no sñlo se deben desarrollar las competencias comunicativas que le permitan al estudiante a comunicarse eficiente-mente. Pero hay otras series de habilidades que contribuyen a que el aprendizaje sea mas efectivo. En el presente artìculo se pretende, por un lado, analizar aspectos teñricos sobre la competencia crìtica; y por otro, mostrar las estrategias did cticas que estimule el pensamiento crìtico en el aula del espaðol como lengua extranjera. During the teaching and learning of a foreign language, not only communicative skills must be developed that allow the student to communicate efficiently. But there are other series of skills that contribute to making learning more effective. This article aims, on the one hand, to analyze theoretical aspects of critical competence; and on the other hand, show the teaching strategies that stimulate critical thinking in the Spanish as a foreign language classroom.es
