The article delves into the issue of bullying among students with special educational needs (SEN) within educational institutions. Bullying is depicted as a persistent and intricate problem, demanding a multidisciplinary and comprehensive approach. Students with SEN are frequently targeted by verbal and physical aggressions, with repercussions that can be devastating, encompassing diminished self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. A distinctive feature of bullying against students with SEN is their frequent inability to defend themselves due to physical or emotional limitations. Bullying can also occur in online environments, complicating detection and requiring specific strategies to safeguard students. Bullying can also impact the social skills development of students with SEN, exacerbating their marginalization. Additionally, communicating negative experiences can be challenging, resulting in underreporting of bullying incidents. Studies in the Republic of Moldova reveal that a significant percentage of children, including those with SEN, are exposed to various forms of violence, including bullying. To counter these issues, strict anti-bullying policies, teacher training in identification and effective intervention, and the promotion of an inclusive and accepting environment are imperative. A study conducted within the "Together for Quality Education" Project aimed to identify the manifestations of bullying towards students with SEN and formulate recommendations for prevention and combating this phenomenon. The conclusions suggest that informing and training teachers, involving parents, and creating a safe and accepting environment are crucial in combating bullying among students with SEN.en
