Abstract: In recent decades, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has become a fundamental therapeutic approach in treating a wide range of psychological disorders. In this context, an area of particular interest and ongoing development is the application of CBT in reconfiguring body perception and self-image. Individuals often face significant challenges regarding their body perception, thereby affecting their well-being and quality of life. This article explores the crucial role of CBT in addressing these aspects, highlighting case studies and theoretical approaches that support the effectiveness of this therapeutic method.
