Abstract: Purpose of the study. Theoretical substantiation of the research problem, identification of the conditions for the development of musical memory and the development of a methodology for its development. The relevance of the work is due to the key role of musical memory in the formation of a student as a "musician" in piano lessons at children's music schools and in his further performing activities. The theoretical significance of the work lies in the methodological substantiation of the pedagogical model, aimed at the development of various types of musical memory, necessary in the work of a supra-musical work in the piano class. The practical significance consisted in the specific integration of musical-didactic methods, technologies and techniques aimed at the development of musical memory in the piano lesson with students of the upper and junior classes of the School of Music.
