Abstract: In this article I examined shopping center management. I chose to focuse on two regional shopping centers: Shopping MallDova from Chișinău and Băneasa Shopping City from Bucharest. In this study I tried to compare these two shopping centers, but also to find similarities between them. I analyzed the interdependence between the size of these two shopping centers and the quantity of shops they have. Also, I categorized each tenant and found the most common types of tenants for „Shopping MallDova” and „Băneasa Shopping City”. Another aspect analyzed in this paper is the location of shops intended for planned and unplanned buying, which is an important aspect for the success of a shopping center. To sum it up, it is important to analyze successfull shopping centers because they can serve as an example for future shopping centers.
