Abstract: This article highlights the main problems young people face when entering the labour market and how these can be overcome. The main problems young people face are: lack of work experience, gender and age discrimination, mistrust from peers and superiors, insufficient education, competition with other candidates, etc. Young people often show perseverance, stubbornness and hard work, learning to succeed and to assert themselves. Unfortunately, some give in under pressure. In conclusion, integrating young people into the workforce can be difficult for a number of reasons. Employers and educational institutions should therefore work together to address these issues and help young people find stable employment and develop successful careers. In addition, employers should remove prejudices against young people and give them a chance in the recruitment process. Finally, young people need to be prepared to learn and adapt to the rapidly changing labour market and develop the skills they need to be competitive.
