Abstract: The polity promoted by the totalitarian-communist regime, such as organized starvation, forced collectivization, mass deportations-caused widespread dissatisfaction among the population of the RSSM, resulting in demonstrations against the existing regime. As a result, anti-soviet groups werw created in the RSSM whose main goal was the liberation of Bessarabia from the Soviet occupation. Among the most well-known anti-soviet resistance groups in the RSSM stand out: Archers of Stephen the Great, Sword of Justice, Black Army, Agrarian Democratic Party. The anti-soviet resistance in Bessarabia, later the RSSM, is an important subject of investigation in the Republic of Moldova which must be researched in as much detail as possible.
