| Abstract: | In the article „The image of clothing in the Romanian folk tales” I attempted to make an analysis of garment elements from three Romanian folk tales: Brother Bucatica (Fratele Bucăţică); The monk (Călugăraşul) and The luck and the unluck (Norocul şi Nenorocul) from the selected folk tales by the folklorist, Dumitru Stăncescu. The aim of this research is to create a general view regarding the garment from these folk texts, by presenting the role and the signification of the clothing in literary charachters' life. |
