| Abstract: | The article explains the notions of „glas” „glassy state” and „glass transition”. It also offers classifications of glassware for different purposes and analyses their operational properties: mechanical strength, hardness, thermal stability and chemical resistance. The article discusses the importance of using glassware, its advantages and disadvantages. Some recommendations on the safe use of glassware for different purposes are provided. |
