Abstract: The enforcement of a court order consists of ensuring compliance with it, if necessary by means of coercive measures permitted by law, including the intervention of law enforcement agencies. If you are successful in court but the other party does not automatically comply with the court's decision, you can apply to the police or a bailiff, depending on the case, to have the court order enforced. A judgment can only be enforced in the State where it was given. Enforcement abroad requires the exequatur or registration procedure.
