Abstract: The reform of the criminal procedure law must be based on solid theoretical foundation. However, adversariality, as legal concept, is not enough investigated in the doctrine of the criminal procedure law. Currently, notorious specialists in the field of criminal procedure law examine and study the importance of fundamental and basic principles of the criminal process and, primarily, its adversariality beginnings in justice rendering. This is natural and, as adversariality has enormous significance for the entire system of criminal proceedings, largely determining the legal status and relations between the participants in criminal proceedings and the legal relationships between the parties to the proceedings and the court.
