dc.description.abstractThe article describes the possibility of using various measures to ensure the data security in a local computer network on the example of the Scientific Library of A. Russo Balti State University. Methods for organizing access to network resources with delimitation of use rights and inventory of information resources for subsequent archiving of important data are considered in detail. The ways for local computers safeguard and data storage servers from virus attacks are proposed. The author emphasizes necessity of using UPS, redundant hard drives and placing data in the cloud storages.en_US
