Abstract: The separatist "project" on the Dniester, for 27 years, followed a natural trajectory of the post-Soviet separatist enclaves, from the generalized state of war, illegalities and terror established by the separatist paramilitary formations with the support of the 14th Army, towards an oligarchic regime financed mainly from external sources and the shadow economy. During this period, the leaders of the secessionists "assembled" their discourse of "Transnistrian statehood" mainly from models and ideological themes of sad pomp, which made the region famous as a "museum of the Soviet Union".
