Abstract: Liberal economic theory is based on the postulate that if the consumer is national and dominates the economy, then the best possible allocation of resources is reached. Consequently, the consumer is facing a real avalanche of information about the goods on the market. Often actions of the merchants derail the violation of the ethical norms of conducting business and the legal framework that regulates them. In these situations, the consumer can go to court to defend the violated rights. In this article we set out to examine the conditions and particularities of the examination of civil cases aimed at protecting consumer rights.
