Abstract: Of all the marketing techniques, e-mail marketing is often ranked as the most important contributor as a successful digital strategy. Email marketing is the most direct and effective way to connect with potential customers, turn them into actual customers, consistently winning over all other marketing channels. Indeed, e-mail links all marketing techniques together. The purpose of this material is to reveal the most effective types of e-mail marketing campaigns, accompanying them with relevant examples: newsletter e-mails, acquisition e-mails, transactional e-mails, retention e-mails, promotional e-mails, behavioral e-mails, stage e-mails, and survey e-mails. E-mail stands out as one of the simplest digital marketing strategies, being available to anyone, easy to elaborate, easy to send and, above all, assuming extremely low or even zero costs.
