Abstract: The current study emphasizes morphological, lexical and semantic features of culinary verbs. These verbs have some peculiarities related specifically to the culinary arts. Depending on the context, culinary arts can represent either a specialized activity or an everyday one. Therefore, its terminology has specialized terms, approximate synonyms and a large number of terms with metaphorical meanings.
