| Abstract: | The article reflects theoretical-applicative approaches regarding skills and intercultural communication in the psychological assistance of refugees. The author highlights the significance of the stages of the "refuge experience" in view of the development of the intervention plan in accordance with the client's needs. The main points from which the psychologist should start and take into account in his intervention are of interest, such as the objectives, the components in the psychosocial assistance of the refugee. An important standard in the psychosocial assistance of the refugee is interculturality, intercultural competence and awareness of the barriers encountered in intercultural communication. |
