| Abstract: | The article reflects theoretical-applicative approaches regarding parental competence and nonviolent communication as a resource of parental competence. The author highlights the essence, components, factors of parental competence as well as the essence, components of nonviolent communication and its significance in the development of parental competence. The practical recommendations regarding the acquisition of the nonviolent communication technique for parents are of interest, and the training for the development of this skill has the role of raising awareness, of configuring positive attitudinal sets, managing to activate reflection processes; the ultimate goal of changing the parents' attitude is to change the child's behavior. |
