| Abstract: | Wikipedia's online encyclopedia contains articles on various topics, created and edited independently in various languages. Any user can improve the article and this improvement can depend on the popularity of the article and the language in which it was written. Te purpose of this study is to show which topics are well represented in different language versions of Wikipedia using the quality assessment results for articles in Romanian compared to other languages. It analyzes how popular the topics selected by readers and authors are in Romanian, English and other languages. It also shows how the results of the study can be used to build local and global rankings of Wikipedia content. |
