| Abstract: | Banking institutions play an important role in the financial sector, in the proper functioning of economic units and the economy as a whole, so that over time there has been a permanent concern for the creation of a functioning banking system able to offer a wide range of products and services that meet the needs of all potential customers, from the first bank events to date. Considering the profound transformations that have suffered financial systems under the action of strong trends of technological innovation, liberalization and globalization that have occurred in recent decades, achieving financial stability is one of the new challenges that they face modern economies. Ensuring financial stability is a natural concern and lately a priority for central banks, which are at the forefront of national financial systems. |
