The tourist guide as a factor of tourism development [Articol]

Abstract

The conceptual aspects of the importance of the tourist guide for tourism development were analyzed in this paper. The article analyzes the conceptual aspects of the subject matter, scrutinizes the specialists’ definitions in the field, and studies the legislation of the Republic of Moldova and Romania regarding the importance of the tourist guides for the development of the tourism sector. The research methodology focused on the use of a set of research methods that facilitate the crystallization of the results. Among the research methods used in this paper we can highlight: analysis, synthesis, scientific abstraction, induction, deduction, abduction. As a result of the researches carried out, we can mention that the tourist guide is a constituent link between the tourist and the tourist attractions, on the one hand, and the tourist potential, on the other hand. The tourist guide helps to discover and develop the tourist potential of a tourist destination.
