Abstract

Tourism represents a vast and almost unexploited domain, but it offers sustainable economic resuits and internaţional awareness. The acwaîity of the topic iays in the need to study thoroughly the implications of rural tourism upon the economic and îhe sustainable development of the country. Tourism development would invigorate the ecortomy, ffeshen the country with new ideas and foreign investment, coming front people visiting the olaces of the interest of the country. They could research Moidovan climate and, maybe, sign partnerships agreements with the state. At the moment, tourism is a strategic piilar for sustainable development, which amplifies the circuiation of resources in the country and stimuiates both the social and economic life. The aim of the research is to study the impact of rural tourism on country sustainable development. The research methodoiogy focused on the use of the following methods: ar.aiysis, synthesis, induction, deduction. comparative analysis. We can conclude that rural tourism will become a decisive factor in contributing to a sustainable development in Moldova and will attract people, ideas, businesses, investments and new circuits in the economic and cultural life of the country.
