Abstract: In this article the author observes the piano works of the Moldovian composer from the point of view of its meaning for the piano conception and pedagogical practice of Republic of Moldova. Proposed review of composer’s works for piano takes not only the published composition, but also its handwritten works as well as piano duets and transcriptions of the most famous symphonic works for the instrument (“Andries” ballet, “Pigeons in the Slanting dine” opera-suite). The author marks a great contribution of Zlata Tkaci into the culture-enlightening activity and educatio-nal process of republic, as head of the Section of Children’s Art of the Composer’s Union of Moldova and as an editor of the most national collections for children and young people.
