Abstract: In this paper, have been addressed the theory-methodology concepts on merchandising. The paper focuses on the analysis methods and interactive techniques of merchandising from a theoretical as well as a practical perspective. The purpose of the paper is to substantiate the most effective merchandising methods and techniques applied in the business unit. The practical part of the paper was made on the materials of the commercial unit S.R.L. "METRO CASH & CARRY". The research methodology focused on conducting the practical study through a qualitative method using the observation sheet as a tool. In the conclusions we can mention that the commercial unit S.R.L. "METRO CASH & CARRY" is a modern business unit that applies interactive methods and techniques merchandising such as: visual merchandising, permanent merchandising, seasonal merchandising, shelf merchandising, which helps the company to establish a constructive, efficient relationship with its customers by transforming them into loyal customers by consolidating their desires to return to the business unit.
