Abstract: In this paper we will discuss some challenges related to the online teaching of Calculus, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and some methods of active teaching and learning, which would allow maintain the quality of the educational process at the appropriate level of educational standards. We describe some possible solutions for overcoming the challenges and identify some tools for organising distance educational activities for Calculus lessons.
